Open standards for annotating and indexing networked media

To get access to CMWeb content, you only need to install a CMWeb Browser. For creating CMWeb content, you will need to install a CMWeb authoring tool. As a content provider, you will need to install CMWeb support on your Web server.

CMWeb Browsers

We are currently in the process of developing free Browsers and Browser plugins for the major platforms MS Windows, Mac OS X, Linux/*nix. Download them from here (as we publish them over time :):

CMWeb Content Authoring

Generally, for authoring CMWeb content, you will need to write CMML files for specific media files and then run the Annodex "encoder" to create Annodex files. Here are some libraries and command line tools to support you in this task:
