Annodex.net: CSIRO Science CMWeb

Open standards for annotating and indexing networked media

As first demonstration material, we have selected a collection of CSIRO owned audio-visual content for copyright reasons.

Each of the source media files has been marked up with a corresponding CMML file, which provides metadata and hyperlinks. The source files here are in MPEG or Ogg Vorbis format, as per our encoding recommendations. Alternative formats can be found in the source directory.

The link below leads directly to an Annodex file: index.anx, in which Conrad Parker gives an introduction to CSIRO. From there, you can link to more audio-visual information on CSIRO's research in astronomy, atmospheric pollution, and land and water.
